Elm Ridge-Glenmore Golf & Curling Classic 2018

I would like to thank all the golfers/curlers who participated in the event on Sunday, October 14th, 2018. It was a great day where we all played a 12-hole scramble at Elm Ridge with beautiful weather, curled 6 ends at Glenmore, devoured a chicken dinner from Cote-St-Luc BBQ, and had a few drinks throughout the day.

Glenmore Senior’itas Hardline Curling Tournament 2018

The second edition of the Glenmore Senior’itas Hardline Curling Tournament organized by Team Laura Thomas was held on October 13th. Seven senior ladies teams were invited to play 2 games followed by hot shots to determine the winner of the day.  All agreed that it was good competition within a fun and friendly setting.  The comments on the lunch, snacks and home-made desserts were super positive and they are looking forward to the next tournament already.

First prize went to Cathy Derrick and her team from Thurso/Lacolle, second prize to Team Odette Trudel from Trois-Rivières, consolation prize to the home team of Laura Thomas and the hot shots winner was Team Jacynthe Tremblay from Pointe-Claire. Many thanks to Hardline Curling for sponsoring this event for the second year.
