GLENMORE INDIAN SUMMER OPEN / WOMEN’S BONSPIEL OCT 1-5, 2014

The annual Glenmore Indian Summer Bonspiel will take place Oct 1st to 5th, 2014. Once again this year, we offer a 24 team open event, as well as an 8 team women’s event!

Kurling for Kids Final Total – $301,373.60 RAISED!

The cheque reveal took place at the Montreal West Curling Club on Sunday April 13, 2014, and the final total for Kurling for Kids 2014 was an amazing $301,373.60!!! This shattered the event goal of $260,000, and was nearly $50,000 more than the 2013 event when $252,000 was raised.
Glenmore raised a club record of $35,100!!!
Thanks to all fundraiser, curlers, organizers and volunteers who support this amazing event!

Kurling for Kids raises $277,000! Glenmore raises $35,000!

The annual Kurling for Kids charity event raises money for Montreal Children’s and Ste Justine. 11 curling clubs and over 600 curlers take part.
It was another record breaking year for Kurling for Kids, with over $277,000 raised to date. Glenmore set it’s own club record raising $35,000.

TEAM WHARRY WINS MIXED PROVINCIALS

Team Tom Wharry with Amelie Blais, Mike Kennedy, and Marie-Josee Fortier win the mixed provincial title held March 19-23 in St Felicien. After finish the round robin with a 3-2 record, they went on a winning roll, winning the tiebreaker to finish A2, then won the A2-B2 game against Team Ian South, also from Glenmore. They went on to win the semi final over Team Hebert, and won the finals over Team Ferland.

TEAM ALLISON ROSS finishes 1st overall at QC provincials with a 6-1 record! They earn the bye to the finals on Saturday and will play either Team Mastine or Team Perron.

Obituary – Ulysse Belliveau

C’est avec un grand regret que je vous annonce le décès d’Ulysse Belliveau à l’âge de 87 ans. Le décès est survenu dimanche 8 décembre 2013 vers 8h00 am. Ulysse était un homme bon et dévoué pour sa famille ,ses amis et la communauté.
Le service d’Ulysse aura lieu au Complexe Funéraires Yves Legare 14370 boul. Pierrefonds, Pierrefonds, Vendredi le 13 décembre de 15h00 à 17h00 puis de 19h00 à 21h00.
Une cérémonie religieuse aura lieu le Samedi 14 décembre à 11h30 à l’église Saint-David, 12450 Rue Gascon, Pierrefonds,.
Ulysse est enfin partie rejoindre la lumière éternelle et qui brillera pour toujours pour lui.
